Over 60 years ago, R.M.Williams fashioned his first pair of boots. From that beginning, in a lonely bush camp in the remote gammon ranges  of South Australia, has grown a world-wide reputation for quality boots and clothing that is second to none. RM was determined to make them better . If he couldn't make them better, he wouldn't make them at all! When RM made his  first riding boots he shaped the uppers from one piece of leather with just one seam at the back. It was pretty well water-proof, and it was strong, because eliminating side seams eliminates potential weak points. It eliminates raised edges that chafe and rub the foot and makes for a more comfortable boot. He also knew that one piece of leather means colour, grain and texture are constant and so you end up with a better looking boot. Today they still make the elastic sided boots the same way. They use the the best materials available...they demand the best and search the country and the world for it!
It takes longer, it costs more....but your feet won't mind a bit!
